Itinerary :

Days 1-2: Essaouira - Marrakech - Aït Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Vallée du Dadès

Begin your journey with an early departure from Essaouira toward Marrakech, with free time to explore Jemaa el-Fna Square or enjoy lunch. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi N’Tichka Pass (2,260 m) and visit the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou. Stay overnight in a riad near the kasbah. The next day, visit Ouarzazate with an optional stop at the film studios or Kasbah Taourirt. Continue through the Valley of Roses, stopping in Kalaat M’Gouna to explore local rose products. Arrive in the Dadès Valley, where you’ll witness the unique “Monkey Fingers” rock formations. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in a riad.

Days 3-4: Vallée du Dadès - Todgha Gorges - Merzouga - Agdez

Depart early for the dramatic Todgha Gorges, where you can walk amidst towering cliffs. In the afternoon, travel toward Merzouga, passing through Erfoud, known for its fossils. Upon arrival, embark on a camel trek to a desert camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy a starlit night with traditional Berber music. On the fourth day, watch the sunrise over the dunes before returning by camel for breakfast. Visit Rissani to explore its bustling market (on Tuesday, Thursday, or Sunday), then travel through Alnif’s desert landscapes toward Agdez. Stay overnight in a traditional kasbah with dinner included.

Days 5-6: Agdez - Vallée du Drâa - Ouarzazate - Marrakech - Essaouira

Journey through the lush Drâa Valley, dotted with palm groves and Berber villages. Stop in Ouarzazate for a quick visit or lunch before crossing the Tizi N’Tichka Pass to reach Marrakech by evening. Spend the night in a riad. On the final day, enjoy free time in Marrakech to explore landmarks like the Medina, Majorelle Gardens, or Bahia Palace. In the afternoon, return to Essaouira, arriving by evening at your riad.
